I gotta say, the DCT and other forms of automatic shifting are giving me a TON of entertainment. Watching y’all argue is just funny as hell. It also shows who is the gatekeepers of cycling.

Bike is perfect if you are 5"2"? Really? But the seat height according to this video is nearly 32". Something is off.

We had our recall completed and now bike won’t start. Drove it 60 miles to have it serviced. No issues. We have over 25k miles on it. We are being told it is the kill switch button on right handle bar. Anyone else ever have this problem.

All these reasons are dumb and inaccurate. DCT is better. Nothing to prove here.

I’m enjoying your vids and subscribed. I’m picking up my T4R orp later this month. My first 4R after 5 Tacoma’s. One question….I keep seeing Yt vids on rust forming on the tailgate garnish. It seems the garnish rubs and chips the paint with the follow on rust on 20, 21, 22 years. Would appreciate a quick comment from you or anyone else on this. Thanks

You can knock the DCT Tour all you want but it’s the King. And yes I own one. And yes I’ve owned 6 speed manual tour bikes.

I bought my first street legal bike in 1985. I currently ride a Gold Wing. I personally don't like DCT, but it's personal preference. Shifting manually is a big part of why I enjoy riding. My last bike was a Suzuki Boulevard C90T cruiser. It was a super fun and beautiful bike! My Gold Wing is phenomenal, though! I live in northeastern Tennessee, so I have some of the best riding opportunities in the entire country. I've been to 49 states, and this area is the best I've seen. There are certainly no lack of wonderful riding opportunities pretty much anywhere, though. Traxxion Dynamics is awesome! It's just down the highway a bit from me. My friend and I drove there a couple months ago so that he could get his new GSX-8R outfitted with a suspension upgrade. I'll be bringing my Wing down there for the full Monty upgrade, and then I'll be adding Henry's final drive modification as well. I'm looking forward to feeling the difference in the handling. It already is extremely nimble, but the full Monty should work wonders for the incredible rides around me. Ride safe, ride well, and ride often.

That mileage increase is unrealistic for a 2-4 hp increase at max throttle.

The DCT is awesome fun. My son and rented two Goldwing’s to ride around south Florida and Everglades national park. One DCT and the other a 6 speed. We swapped bikes several times and I can say hands down we both preferred the DCT. Effortless blasts from the stoplight, the 6 speed was always left behind. Rested hands at stoplights on the DCT too. Way less aggravating coordination of gas, shifter, clutch , no needs for 1 million squeezes of a clutch lever for every ride, no crappy shifts, etc. Slow speed handling literally took seconds to figure out for both of us. DCT IS THE BEST.

Rode the 6 speed before I bought my 2019 DCT. Have owned over 25 bikes. Both were great. The DCT is just different. I like the challenge of low.speed handling without the clutch friction zone. I am old but not afraid to try new things. In traffic or relaxed riding, not manual shifting is great. Going to manual mode in Sport is awesome fast

Nice color for sure , we have on order one of the last 4Runners in Midnight Black . It’s also a TRD ORP. So looking forward to it. I also have a Toyota Tundra limited TRD 2022 , love that truck as well.

Bought mine new in 2020. 50,000 plus miles no issues or letter from Honda yet. One of my favorite bikes in the stable of 7 motorcycles. (5 are Hondas)

I have the 018 DCT, will never go back to shifting. oh wait I can paddle shift mine now if I wish.

I bought my '22 Tacoma TRD off-road 4X4 manual transmission in September within 5K I had my 🛢️ changed 3X also front diff, rear diff + manual transmission with amsoil 75w-90 gl-5 diffs & gl-4 transmission & redline MT-LV transfer case. From the day I got my truck it would clunk every time I would shift, I thought that was normal after I changed the rear differential that made the biggest difference cuz I changed each fluid at 1X to see if anything changed. No more clunking If it does it's operator error & minimal. Amsoil is pricey but anyone can do it & much better than factory fluids 💪💯% replace your crush washer's if u change out your fluids ALWAYS take off the fill 🔩 1st 👍👍

Just got a 24 SR5 Premium 4WD in the underground colorway. I really wanted an OFP but they didn’t have any inbound to the dealer until Sept. didn’t want to wait that long. Love the truck so far.

Hello. Took our 2020 Tacoma in for oil change at Toyota dealership, they added all 7 quarts. Instead of the 6.2 required. They told me the tech was new and made mistake. They should require a quality assurance person to over see techs work. He had been working there 2 months, can you imagine how many times he has done this.

Lexus has too much weighing it down. Literally and figuratively. Worse offroad capabilities and gas mileage. More things to break.

I had a manual 18 wing and now a 24 DCT because the new ones in germany only come with DCT ... I can understand both parties, manual was great on the wing and the DCT also. Sometimes I miss the manual, sometimes not... both sytems have advantage and disadvantages 🤷 Ride safe GW Bros ✌️

Its good that you get a chose. Here in Australia Honda sales weren't that good for the 6 speed manual so Honda stopped importing them. That's what I have been told by a Honda dealership in Melbourne.

I’m just gonna throw this out there…. I picked up a new trd pro, that someone must have reserved, then let go. No extra charges, and had it delivered from across the state to me. I had a pro on reserve that might be a ship right now, but I kept checking for deals like this. They were out there weekly, but this was the one that worked for me. Got it two months early, then sold my ORP for a decent price. Win-win. 👍🤪🏳️‍🌈

Thank you for the detailed video. If you still have your 4Runner TRD ORP, our dealer programmed the lights for us. You just leave them in the "On" position and when you start the car, they go on. When you leave the car, just press lock twice and the lights go off.

I had a 2018 DCT the best thing i liked about it was reverse i would just back up my steep driveway into my garage the worst thing when coming to a stop the bike would downshift into 1st where I was reaching for the ground I sold the bike after 6 months plus coming off of a Yamaha FJR it was very slow I have a Tesla Model 3 base that's faster than a gold wing DCT now that's embarrassing

just had to have the coolant plate reinstalled on my 2022 at 60k. Lexus said it is a maintenance issue and won't cover it

Excellent video! I just happened to stumble on to it. Do you still have this bike and if so what are your thoughts now? Why did you select this bike over other bikes, particularly the Ducati XDivel which is also a power cruiser? Just curious? Also, the wheelbase of this bike is long 66 if I recall, so how does that effect handling and nimbleness. What do you think of the Rocket 3 GT 2024 now that time has passed. Have they improved the bike and if so would you get a newer model.Some of the break downs you mentioned on the road is scary being so far away from home. Were you able to get dealer support? Don't ever do any tightening of sump plugs, bolts or filters without a torque wrench set to the manufacturers specified torque!

I only buy 4x4 s Envoys 23 years now a 4Runner because I live in Canada......
